Many people think that the Cayman Islands and Grand Cayman are the same thing. Grand Cayman is one island, and it is part of the Cayman Islands. There are, however, two other islands. Did you know that? In fact, I will take it a step further so that you get to learn more about that interesting fact today. The names of the other two islands are Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. Alot of the attractions are centered around Grand Cayman, but you can have fun visiting all three of the islands. Let’s look at some of the things to do when you visit the Cayman Islands.
Smith Cove is one of the top attractions, and it is located on South Sound Road in, yes you guessed it, Grand Cayman. Review highlights mention a small and beautiful cove, a wave pool and an ice cream truck. This sounds like one of those great attractions for the entire family to see, and then of course for the kids to have some fun. One of the locals that lives in Grand Cayman posted and said he goes there all the time. If it is a hit with the locals, you know it will be fun for you. Plus, reviewers say that you can snorkel in the cove. That’s the best part.
The Cayman Turtle Center has an Island Wildlife Encounter waiting for you on North West Point Road. In case you are wondering, yes it is in Grand Cayman. I told you that many of the attractions are centered around Grand Cayman. At the Cayman Turtle Center, you get to see a turtle farm of sea turtles. Can you imagine? That would be so cool, and they also have a water park there, which according to the reviews is good but mostly for the younger kids.
We are going to look at one be more Cayman Island attraction. I’m going to let the cat out of the bag and say that this attraction is in Grand Cayman, too. Seven Mile Beach is not just any beach. Remember, we are talking the Cayman Islands here. This is a beach with white sand and crystal clear water. The reviews back it up, too. So you have a beach, a turtle sanctuary and Smith Cove for snorkeling, and that’s just to get you started. Have fun vacationing in Grand Cayman or all three of the Cayman Islands.
